On August 31, China Shenhua’s Xinjiang Energy held the 2026 Golden Autumn Education Aid grant distribution ceremony in Arele Township, Yutian County. A total of RMB 132,000 in financial aid was distributed to 44 newly admitted college students from three paired-assistance villages, Bashiyetai Bashi, Xiamalebage, and Baishituogelake, all within Arele Township. Each student also received a thoughtfully prepared Care Package for Learning to support their educational journey.

To ensure this initiative reaches every student in need as they prepare to enter college, the Company, through its stationed village work teams, conducted door-to-door visits to the families of disadvantaged students, assessed their specific needs, established an aid tracking database, and implemented a targeted support mechanism. These efforts are designed to ease the financial burden on students’ families and secure their access to higher education. “I feel grateful to be one of the recipients. I will always remember this timely act of kindness. In my new academic life, I will study even harder to acquire knowledge and practical skills, so that I can one day contribute to the development of my hometown”, said a student beneficiary Herayi Masaidi at the grant distribution ceremony.

Over the years, Xinjiang Energy has precisely aligned the “needs of the people” with the “capabilities of the enterprise”. Focusing on education support, the Company has steadily improved its long-term assistance mechanisms, broadened the reach of its aid programs, and implemented a range of public-benefit initiatives. These efforts have continuously strengthened the local population’s sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security, while channeling corporate resources into the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period (2021–2025), Xinjiang Energy has extended assistance to 432 students from 17 administrative villages in southern Xinjiang, with total grant funding amounting to RMB 1.296 million. Through these concrete actions, the Company has safeguarded the educational aspirations of rural students, making a tangible and heartfelt contribution to education in the border regions.
