Recently, the “dedicated device for upper belt surface laying”, independently developed by Shendong Coal, was officially put into operation. After one month of real operation, the device operated stably and all performance indicators met the designed requirements. It effectively addressed safety and efficiency challenges in traditional construction through mechanized and precise operation, building a dual line of defense for safety and efficiency in the installation of underground belt conveyors.
During the installation of underground gateway belt conveyors, the traditional operation method required five to six workers to cooperate with special vehicles and conduct repeated manual rope lifting more than 30 times, posing safety hazards such as injuries from steel rope rebound and belt deviation. The new device achieved core breakthroughs with four key components: equipment base, side support columns, lifting device and telescopic sleeve shaft. It could be seamlessly connected to special vehicles and moved flexibly without modification. The device realized a vertical lifting height of 0.8 meters through oil cylinders, adapting to roadway heights of 3.1 meters and below. The bidirectional telescopic sleeve shaft allowed precise adjustment of the traction position to ensure coaxial alignment between the belt head and the traction shaft, eliminating belt deviation at the source and removing manual rope lifting.
This device not only completely eliminated operational safety hazards, but also effectively reduced labor intensity and costs, enhancing quality and efficiency in underground belt conveyor installation.
