Recently, Daliuta Coal Mine of Shendong Coal organized an Open Day event for employees’ children. Over 20 children, accompanied by their parents, visited the mine for an immersive experience with safety knowledge learning, effectively bridging the Daliuta Coal Mine and employee families closer.
During the event, the children visited the Mine Dispatch and Command Center, where they gained direct knowledge of the entire intelligent mining processes, including coal extraction, transportation, and ventilation, through informational videos and real-time monitoring displays. They then visited the Mine Museum, where they reviewed the mine’s development journey via photographs, historical records, and physical exhibits, and recognized the responsibility and honor of their parents’ generation, who have remained dedicated to their work. In a thematic session, all participants watched a video on the family traditions of role model workers, reinforcing the concept that “safety is the basis of family happiness”, a statement deeply resonating with the present families.
The children enthusiastically shared their impressions: intelligent equipment makes mining safe and efficient, and the mining area is sophisticated and advanced. Above all, they expressed their earnest expectations for their family members to work and return home safely.
This event was an important initiative of the Heartwarming Project. It not only enhanced the understanding and support of employee families for mining, but also further strengthened their sense of belonging and happiness, fostering a powerful link between Daliuta Coal Mine and families in jointly safeguarding safe production.
