In early March, Shendong Coal’s first CMM1-15Y hydraulic roof bolter was put into operation at the Bu’ertai underground Coal Mine, successfully reducing the anchor cable support time per cycle by 50%, significantly enhancing underground support efficiency, and injecting new momentum into safe and efficient roadway development at the mine.
This equipment is designed for operations in confined underground spaces, with a chassis width of just one meter. Its key advantages include compact and flexibility, high maneuverability, and precise positioning, effectively addressing support challenges posed by complex geological conditions and narrow roadways, while enhancing both safety and operational efficiency.
Compared to traditional equipment, this bolter can flexibly perform drilling operations in areas unreachable by conventional machinery, including chambers and cross-cut corners, successfully replacing manual hand-held and pneumatic roof bolters and significantly reducing labor intensity. Additionally, its remote-controlled operation mode allows workers to stay clear of hazardous roof-open zones, substantially lowering safety risks, improving the underground working environment, and achieving a dual enhancement in safety and efficiency.
