Recently, Guangdong Huizhou Power Plant launched the activity of Bring Warm Care for Retired Employees Through Visits. Party member volunteers were organized to conduct service programs, including offering care, engaging in friendly conversations, and helping with practical matters when visiting retired employees, thus extending warm care from the Plant.
On the day of the activity, Party member volunteers from the Plant began to visit retired employees in the early morning, personally delivered well-prepared gifts, including thermos cups and commemorative plates, and extended sincere Spring Festival wishes to them.
“You’ve done meticulous and considerate work, and we truly feel the warmth of the Plant. Thank you very much!” and “Your thoughtfulness makes me feel warm”, said the retired employees with smiles of happiness when receiving these gifts. The gifts not only acknowledge their decades of hard work, but also represent the Plant’s good wishes for their health and happiness in the future. In addition to the gifts, volunteers sat down with the retired employees to inquire about their daily life, health conditions, and interests, showing concern for every detail of their life.
The Plant purchases critical illness insurance and medical insurance every year for retired employees to ensure they receive timely and effective treatment during routine outpatient visits, hospitalizations, or serious diseases, as well as alleviating their financial burdens for medical expenses. Furthermore, the Plant regularly organizes routine physical examinations allowing retired employees to choose examinations at the local medical center or returning to the Plant, enabling them to stay informed about their health conditions. After physical examinations, the Plant arranges tailored health lectures by local medical professionals, offering them professional health guidance and advice.
Through the volunteer service program, the Plant demonstrates warm care to its retired employees, further enhancing their sense of belonging and happiness.
