On October 25, the Ha’erwusu Fire Squadron from Zhunneng Group’s Emergency Support Center gave a lecture on fire safety education in the Fourteenth Kindergarten of Xuejiawan Town, further enhancing the fire safety awareness and self-rescue skills among teachers and students to ensure campus safety.
Taking into account the characteristics of campus fires and drawing on real fire incidents from recent years, the presenter highlighted the importance and necessity of fire safety on campus with practical knowledge on the safe use of fire, electricity, and gas. Teachers and students listened attentively and participated actively in answering questions and discussing safety practices. Through these interactions, they learned the significance of fire in daily life as well as the sudden, serious, and widespread nature of fires. Subsequently, the presenter demonstrated the use of firefighting tools and gas & smoke masks, promoted fire safety knowledge and helped the teachers and students to understand the causes of fires, keep fire emergency numbers in mind and master emergency and self-rescue skills.
The Squadron has been committed to fulfilling social responsibility by organizing fire safety lectures and evacuation drills in schools and communities to raise public safety awareness and emergency response skills.
