On September 26, Huanghua Harbor Administration Corporation was honored with the National Maritime Search-and-Rescue Award for its exceptional performance in maritime search and rescue at the 2023 Annual Commendation Conference for Outstanding Contributions to Social Rescue Forces held in Hebei Province.
In recent years, Huanghua Harbor Administration Corporation has been strengthening its emergency maritime rescue capabilities by conducting regular real-time drills and exercises. The company has also collaborated with maritime authorities and other regulatory agencies to complete extensive maritime rescue and emergency response missions, establishing a solid “maritime safety beacon” in the waters around Huanghua Port. In 2023, with the deployment of 53 tugboats, the company carried out 29 maritime rescue operations to assist 17 vessels in distress and rescue 16 injured or ill crew members, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the philosophy of “life is priceless, and rescue is our responsibility”.
