To promote the spirit of the selfless dedication of “voluntary blood donation and caring for life”, and to actively fulfill social responsibilities while showcasing the positive demeanor of employees, Shendong Coal’s Liuta Coal Mine organized a blood donation campaign on July 3.
Guided by the staff, participating employees followed a systematic process of scanning QR codes for registration, filling out confirmation forms, verifying blood types, drawing blood, and receiving their donation certificates. The event proceeded in an orderly manner. Over 70 employees donated more than 25,000 milliliters of blood within merely two hours. The participating employees said that voluntary blood donation is a bounden duty of every healthy citizen, and by donating blood, they can help patients in urgent need, thus conveying love for a better society.
Liuta Coal Mine has been committed to promoting public welfare by actively organizing and participating in various volunteer activities. Notably, the “Chuncao” Volunteer Service Team has gathered 671 local volunteers. Its “Chuncao” Education Assistance Initiative has supported local schools by establishing three “Chuncao” libraries, donating over 15,000 books and more than 23,000 sets of school supplies to students from disadvantaged families, with a total value of RMB 356,800.
