Recently, the Cuncaota Mine of Shendong Coal called on its young employees to donate books for children in need in rural areas.
After learning that Nalinxili Primary School in Hongqinghe Town, Ejin Horo Banner, lacked extracurricular books, young employees from the Cuncaota Mine bought 500 books covering science, geography, mathematics, and literature for children at the school. The books are stored in the school’s newly built reading room, allowing students to learn more about the outside world, broaden their vision and increase their knowledge. Furthermore, during a charity event organized by the banner’s Office for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress, those young volunteers donated basketballs, volleyballs, marker pens, schoolbags and other school supplies as a way to pass on love and warmth.
