The upgrading project of the Huzhu Senior Home in Shunxing Town, Guyang County, Inner Mongolia, and the renovation project of five public toilets in downtown Guyang, with funds donated by Baoshen Railway Group, recently passed acceptance inspections. The company is empowering rural revitalization with concrete actions.
After thorough surveys, the company donated nearly 1.64 million yuan to renovate the Huzhu Senior Home. With the donated funds, the local government constructed, repaired and renovated infrastructure of the senior home, built an activity room for the elderly, a leisure square and fitness facilities, and repaved the cement road and tiled floor in front of the senior home. Besides, the company donated another 1.5 million yuan to renovate five public toilets in downtown Guyang, enabling the facilities to meet the national second-class public toilet standard.
Answering China Energy’s call for “consolidating and expanding poverty alleviation achievements and empowering rural revitalization,” Baoshen Railway helps Guyang County improve its living and business environments. Through these measures, the company has improved its relationship with local communities, built a sound image as a centrally administered state-owned enterprise, and helped local people live a better life.
