Recently, the construction machinery workshop of Shengli Energy Equipment Maintenance Center launched the “Voluntary Blood Donation”. Staff volunteers participated in voluntary blood donation, promoting the volunteer spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress” with real actions.
Volunteers came to the Central Blood Station at Xilin Gol League, and cooperated with the staff in filling out the blood donation sheet, and collecting blood samples for testing. During the test, the medical staff informed the blood donation precautions to the volunteers. Two of the volunteers were found in the test with good blood quality and high platelet content, so the medical staff suggested the volunteers to donate platelets, and both agreed. Upon confirming qualifications, the volunteers rolled up their sleeves and extended their arms for donation.
A total of 15 volunteers took part in the unpaid blood donation, contributing to 4,800 ml blood and two therapeutic doses of platelets. The volunteers spread warmth and hope of life in the name of love, practicing social responsibilities with practical deeds.
