To promote the volunteer spirit of “dedication, caring, mutual assistance and common progress,” the mechanical and electrical management department and the equipment maintenance center of Zhunneng Group jointly organized a volunteer activity on March 12, delivering care to a special education school in Jungar Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Volunteers presented students stationery like jigsaw puzzles, badminton rackets, basketballs and shuttlecocks. Students in the school were so happy to receive the presents, and expressed their gratitude. The school then held a flag-raising ceremony. After that, volunteers joined students to attend a PE class.
The special education school is a full-time board school for students with disabilities. There are 67 students in eight classes, mostly with mental disabilities, Down’s syndrome or multiple impairments.
