As a cold wave hit Inner Mongolia during the Spring Festival, Yanbao Energy strengthened all aspects of its coal production, transportation and export, effectively ensuring demand for residential heating and industrial consumption. From February 15 to 23, the Company achieved a raw coal output of 1.009 million tonnes with an average daily output of 112,000 tonnes. It sold 1.021 million tonnes of commercial coal and loaded 21 trains per day on average, solidly ensuring stable energy supply.
Facing the extreme weather, Yanbao Energy stepped up risk assessments and hazard identification for production activities under such conditions. It rationally formulated production tasks, strictly implemented the leadership on-duty system, and earnestly fulfilled the responsibilities of leadership, supervision and on-site management to prevent safety accidents. In addition, the Company dispatched safeguarding teams to Mindong No.1 Coal Mine and No.3 Coal Mine, strengthened supervision and control in the production, and pressed and consolidated safety production responsibilities at all levels to ensure safe and orderly production under extreme weather.
The railway transportation, storage and loading system overcame the impact of wind and snow. By optimizing the transportation organization mode, the company conducted real-time dynamic monitoring on the entire process of train operation, vehicle allocation and loading/unloading operations. Meanwhile, it organized personnel to clear snow and ice on turnouts to prevent accumulation from affecting turnout switching and ensure efficient connection across all links. Cold protection measures for outdoor equipment were strengthened, with strict implementation of heating device operation, maintenance, and regular hot standby systems to avoid equipment failures and shutdowns, thereby ensuring safe and efficient operation of the production. Furthermore, auxiliary units including the Water and Power Center and Logistics Center made every effort to ensure water, power, heating, catering and material supply, providing reliable support for smooth coal production during the Spring Festival.
