Baoshen Railway safely operated a total of 1,028 ten-thousand-tonne heavy-haul trains from October 1 to 8, averaging 129 trains per day, and transported over 7.5 million tonnes of coal. This robust performance ensured a stable and orderly energy supply during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period.
During the holidays, the Company firmly shouldered its energy supply guarantee responsibilities, capitalized on the favorable market trend of steady and rising coal prices, and fully leveraged its integrated transport advantages. It focused precisely on key areas such as purchased coal sourcing, train flow organization, operational optimization, and coordination at junction points. Meanwhile, the Company continuously optimized locomotive routing and power allocation, overcoming impact from rainfall and construction works, to maximize the operation of ten-thousand-tonne heavy-haul trains. This sustained the overall transport capacity at a high level, with all production indicators showing steady improvement.
Additionally, the Company strictly implemented a holiday duty system across all levels and adhered to on-site safety management principles of “being on-site, addressing actual conditions, and responding in real-time”. It reinforced the sense of responsibility among all levels of traffic management personnel, conducting on-board inspections and on-site checks targeting critical positions, key personnel, and essential operations. These measures ensured comprehensive control over operational safety throughout the holiday period.
