As of February 13, Zhunneng Group has produced a total of 80,826 tonnes of lump coal, fulfilling its February production goal 15 days ahead of schedule and making a significant contribution to meeting market demand and ensuring energy supply.
Since the beginning of 2025, Zhunneng Group has fully implemented CHN Energy’s “136” development strategy, focusing on its three priorities: key business operation, transition toward green development and resource acquisition. The Company has underscored its annual production and operation goals with meticulous organization and science-based scheduling to optimize production process and improve efficiency. The Company has strengthened the management of raw coal transportation, closely monitoring quality changes of coal in pit and promptly adjusting washing processes. It has increased management & control measures during the lump coal production process and maintained the screening system and vibrating screens, replacing damaged screens to enhance screening efficiency and ensure consistent raw coal quality. In addition, the Company flexibly switches between lump coal and thermal coal chutes to ensure good quality of lump coal. To minimize the risk of coal damage, wear-resistant plates have been installed within the chutes to reduce impact during coal transfer, and dry mist dust suppression devices are employed at material-dropping chutes and buffer devices to enhance dust control. Buffer beds have been installed in coal feeding areas of conveyor belts to reduce the impact of chute drop, ensuring the integrity of the lump coal structure, preventing secondary fragmentation during transportation and increasing the lump coal rate.
Furthermore, Zhunneng Group responded to the cold wave during the 2025 Spring Festival by increasing the spraying amount of antifreeze on lump coal vehicle carriages, undercarriages, and gaps between coal pieces, to ensure “zero frozen vehicle”. The Company also enhanced the maintenance of its lump coal production systems and devices, increased inspection frequencies, and improved equipment efficiency. Closer communication and coordination with CHN Energy’s central dispatch office and railway departments have facilitated reasonable planning of coal loading and distribution schedules, prioritizing lump coal vehicles for loading to ensure timely outbound transportation.
