As of February 19, Baoshen Railway’s annual freight volume exceeded 40 million tonnes, reaching 40.016 million tonnes, fully playing the role of the first phase in the Group’s integrated transportation.

Since the beginning of 2025, fully implementing CHN Energy’s “136” development strategy and giving top priority to the “1531+N” corridor transportation strategy of Baoshen Railway Group, the Group has enhanced its sense of responsibility and focused on goal achievement to ensure safe and stable energy supplies. By consistently reinforcing its commitment to safety development, the Group has promoted the establishment of a safety production management system, leveraged digital tools to guide on-site operations, and enhanced safety management & control measures from multiple dimensions, building a robust safety transport barrier. In addition, the Group has intensified inspection and supervision at the frontline, aligning thoughts and actions and increasing the frequency and intensity of on-site safety regulation. Following the principle of identifying subjective factors behind objective issues, the Group has conducted thorough equipment inspection and maintenance, probed direct and indirect causes of equipment failures, streamlined emergency response procedures and improved safety precautions to address the problems in safety production.

Furthermore, based on coal market trends, the Group has accurately quantified task indicators for externally purchased coal by dedicated lines. By leveraging the “one-on-one” communication feedback model, the Group optimizes rigid constraints and pressure transmission mechanisms, and urges external coal suppliers to fulfill their contracts on schedule and maintain timely shipments, thus avoiding any delays in loading and transportation. Focusing on freight marketing by exploring short-distance adjustment, potential opportunities in local coal, and pinpointing the linkages between freight rates and volumes, the Group has discovered opportunities for supply growth. In addition, the Group has strictly adhered to the central dispatch office’s small gondola cars demand fulfillment plan, and meticulously organized the regular operation of “1+1” combined 10,000-tonnes trains with C80 wagons to address seasonal energy supply demands while maximizing the capacity of the main integrated energy transportation network. Based on construction and maintenance plans, the Group has adjusted transportation organization ahead of schedule, made full use of video monitoring, and timely increased maintenance gaps, enhancing gap period utilization and mitigating conflicts between production and transportation to solidify a foundation for safe and efficient transportation.
