As of August 28, Shuohuang Railway’s non-coal transportation volume reached 15.0443 million tonnes for the year, marking a 15.77% year-on-year increase and hitting a record high compared with the same periods of previous years.
Since the beginning of 2024, focusing on its annual non-coal transportation goals, Shuohuang Railway has steadily implemented the scheduled operation management model, and promoted integration and coordination across transportation, freight, dispatch, and locomotive maintenance. By refining arrangement to improve efficiency and advancing operation in terms of multiple aspects, Shuohuang Railway has systematically advanced its non-coal transportation business. The company has built a modern comprehensive logistics system integrating “channels, hubs, networks, and platforms”. By following a market expansion strategy combining long-term cultivation with quick and effective approaches, new routes and services have been introduced, including the China-Europe freight train services, reverse transportation of bauxite from Huanghua Port, joint container transportation of bauxite via the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, and bidirectional container services for tiles and corncobs to and from Xiong’an New Area. Additionally, the company has completed registration on China Railway’s 95306 digital logistics platform. Shuohuang Railway has further deepened its connectivity with China Railway, continuously advancing its “chain extension, chain supplementation, and chain strengthening” initiatives. These efforts have propelled the diversification, modernization, and comprehensive development of its transportation business, providing customers with more convenient, efficient, and safe logistics solutions. Moreover, in conjunction with the “Five Checks, Five Corrections, Five Promotions” initiative, the company has reinforced its safety measures by enhancing oversight of adverse weather conditions, key operations, and critical positions with more efforts in duty systems and enhanced flood prevention and control measures to ensure a safe, stable, and efficient energy supply.
