As of July 24, Shenchi South Station of Shuohuang Railway Yuanping Branch has recorded 25,108 incoming trains with a total load of 196.8 million tonnes, sustaining robust and continuous efforts in energy supply during the peak summer demand period.

Since the beginning of 2024, Shenchi South Station has been fully implementing the company’s “121” development strategy, adhering to the principle of “ensuring every train is guaranteed and every train is received”. The station has been maximizing its transportation potential to ensure the smooth and safe operation of CHN Energy’s critical transport routes. With a focus on energy supply and annual transportation targets, the station has meticulously broken down transportation tasks and planned transportation schemes on a monthly and yearly basis. It insists on analyzing daily progress and regularly implements a transportation analysis with an emphasis on “guaranteeing a daily task fulfillment on a shift basis, guaranteeing a weekly task fulfillment on a daily basis, and guaranteeing a monthly task fulfillment on a weekly basis” to ensure timely completion of tasks. By enhancing the “one station, three lines” coordination function, the station actively liaises with three dispatch centers to adjust periodic train flow plans based on the application situations of the receiving-departure track, addressing factors like upstream congestion and mismatched train types to ensure smooth train reception and dispatch. The station has expedited train turnover time by connecting with the locomotive turn-back section and establishing communication mechanisms, such as crew shift reminding, and locomotive garaging and departure. The station employs interlocking 2 and interlocking 5 parallel routes for train dispatch and locomotive transfer measures, thereby reducing train dwell time and improving turnover efficiency. Upholding the principle that ensuring safety is paramount, Shenchi South Station put emphasis on the situation “on the site, in real time, and at the moment”, strengthening on-site hazard prevention and risk sources identification. The station rigorously implements the safety responsibility system for all staff and conducts regular hazard inspections to ensure that station safety production is controllable, under control, and within control.
