As of July 17, the cumulative annual freight turnover on the Zhunchi Line of Xinshuo Railway has reached 7.04 billion tkm, with a cargo dispatch volume of 38.457 million tonnes.
Since the beginning of 2024, Zhunchi Railway has actively implemented CHN Energy’s development strategy, thoroughly delving into effective cargo sources and optimizing the match between cargo sources and transport capacity. The railway ensures transportation safety by strictly adhering to standardized operating procedures and significantly enhancing maintenance quality. With a focus on the annual transport targets, the railway continuously optimizes organizational measures, enhances communication and coordination at boundary points, and leverages cross-professional collaboration to improve transport efficiency in a comprehensive manner. Key efforts include organizing the operation of 20,000-tonne trains and continuously refining the operational methods to ensure safe operation. By strengthening communication with Shenchi South Station, the railway accelerates the turnaround of empty and loaded trains to ensure smooth transportation. Priority is given to equipment upgrades, employing mechanical cleaning and tamping to enhance ballasted track elasticity and improve geometric standards of the lines, thus solidifying track quality. Seasonal risks are closely monitored, with the introduction of technological methods to achieve comprehensive control and emergency command. Flood prevention measures and facility management systems are adopted to ensure the effective implementation of flood control measures. Enhanced basic management, strict accountability, as well as intensified inspections and rectifications in key areas contribute to a robust foundation for the safe, stable, and efficient supply of energy.
