On January 25, the winter intensive overhaul tasks for large railway track maintenance machinery surpassed the halfway mark, with a total of 69 major machines and track vehicles undergoing annual maintenance, 8 major machines receiving comprehensive repairs, and 33 auxiliary vehicles completing maintenance. The completion rates for planned tasks are 60.5%, 61.5%, and 55.9%, respectively. This progress lays a solid equipment foundation for the smooth implementation of mechanized maintenance operations for various railway in 2024.
Since the beginning of the winter intensive overhaul, the company has adhered to the principles of “safe and orderly, precise and efficient”. It has organized overhaul plans and coordinated maintenance sites according to key points in time, so as to ensure that all four maintenance sites conducted overhauls at the same time, achieving multi-point maintenance for the first time to enhance the efficiency of overhauling. With regular coordination meetings for overhaul and production, the company analyzed bottlenecks during the overhaul process, formulated scientific measures, addressed shortcomings in organization of overhaul and production, and maintained steady progress in the overhaul schedule.
With a focus on strengthening the control of overhaul work processes, the company has rigorously managed various aspects including the equipment receipt for overhaul, pre-inspection, and assembly, strictly controlling each step and ensuring multi-level quality control during the overhaul. Through analyzing typical quality issues, the company continuously enhances the quality and capability of overhauls, ensuring that the equipment is safe and reliable after maintenance. Management personals at all levels have strictly implemented the post duty, comprehensively strengthened safety supervision during the overhaul process, closely monitored key positions and safety weak links on-site, and promptly addressed various issues to ensure continuous stability, safety and environmental protection. All units have conducted systematic and organized self-inspection and self-maintenance of equipment, eliminating various equipment malfunctions and adverse conditions and restoring equipment performance, which has contributed to cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
