On March 31, Train 18466 departed the Diandaigou station, marking that Xinshuo Railway officially launched the joint transport crew pooling system.
On December 1, 2022, the company launched the first phase of its crew pooling system. The overall crew pooling system is implemented in three phases. As the second phase of the plan, the joint transport crew pooling system features cross-departmental marshaling, unified personnel deployment, and all-crew rotation. Six transport subsidiaries and 24 HXD3CA locomotives participated in the joint transport crew pooling system. Previously, the Implementation Plan for HXD3CA Locomotive Crew Pooling System of the Locomotive Subsidiary of Xinshuo Railway was formulated based on the different structures of locomotives, train attendants’ capabilities and performances, and other factors to clarify respective duties, and the operational workshop is responsible for coordinated locomotive and personnel management.
The implementation of the joint transport crew pooling system has effectively removed barriers for locomotive and personnel deployment, solved the contradiction between lack of personnel and surging transport demand, accelerated the turnover of locomotives, and given full play to the overall resource advantage of joint transport, thus providing locomotive support for accomplishing transport tasks of the year.
