Recently, the ship “Shenhua 801” loaded with 75,000 tonnes of limestone berthed at the bulk cargo terminal of Huanghua Port under China Energy, indicating that the port further expanded the scope of its non-coal transport services.

Huanghua Port is a major comprehensive energy port specializing in coal transportation, with an annual handling volume of more than 200 million tonnes. Since the start of this year, it has implemented the “large logistics development strategy” and taken measures to optimize transport channels, lower logistics costs, and enhance logistics efficiency, providing full-process, economical “door-to-door” logistics services for clients. Meanwhile, the port has actively opened new sea routes and expanded its non-coal logistics services to places like Guangxi, Guangdong and Hunan to increase its stimulating effect for inland area. It has also improved the Bohai Bay transport channel and promoted regional multimode transport services, laying the groundwork for building a major dual-circulation port logistics hub. This time, Huanghua Port signed a letter of intent on long-term cooperation with CEM Cangzhou Manufacturing Materials Co., Ltd. to explore new technologies for transportation of new types of cargo like limestone and maximally meet the developmental needs of local enterprises. It is estimated that the annual limestone transport volume will be no less than 6 million tonnes, thus bolstering local economic development.
