As of November 14, Shuohuang Railway Co., Ltd. under China Energy had transported more than 303.7 million tonnes of cargo, including over 288.05 tonnes of coal. Continuous efforts were made to guarantee energy supply for the upcoming winter peak season.

Since it took the mission to guarantee energy supply for the upcoming winter, Shuohuang Railway has worked hard to overcome the negative impact of Covid-19 and cold weathers, and based on China Energy’s overall efficient transport network and in-depth analysis of transport situations, it takes every opportunity to increase transport volume. Moreover, it strengthens vehicle transfer organization and coordinates the acceptance of heavy-duty freight trains from upstream companies. With focus on transport organization at the Shenchi South Station, it managed to increase the marshalling and operation of 10,000-tonne and 20,000-tonne freight trains, relieving the pressure on the main transport passage. Following the principle of “focusing on Huanghua Port while paying attention to the operation of the Huanghua-Dajiawa Railway and strengthening local sales,” the company arranges freight trains according to vehicle types and proportions of different types of coal in a rational way, enhances the transport efficiency, makes full use of vehicles under its control, and takes quick action to organize westward transfer of empty trains to meet the upstream cargo loading needs. Efforts are also made to streamline the operation of the Huanghua-Dajiawa Railway, strengthen cargo unloading at Longkou Port, and advance the construction of the Binzhou Logistics Center. Through the bulk coal unloading model, the company has further unleashed the transport potential of the Huanghua-Dajiawa Railway. It has also stepped up the adjustment and utilization of locomotives for the purpose of increasing transport capacity, strengthened attendant training and education, enhanced response to seasonal harsh weathers, and ensured the effectiveness of locomotives. Based on the current epidemic situation, it has constantly improved management methods and prevention and control measures, especially the management of key personnel such as traffic controllers and locomotive attendants, ensuring both effective epidemic control and smooth transport organization.
