Recently, the intelligent control system for coal mine face relocation was officially put into operation at Shendong Coal. The system covers 14 self-owned mines of Shendong, eight contracted mines, and three departments, totaling 25 units in all, realizing digital and standardized whole-process management for face relocation, and laying a sound foundation for efficient and continuous mine production. This marks an important step of Shendong Coal in the digital transition of coal mine production succession management.
Face relocation serves as the core procedure of mine production succession. Traditional management relies on paper ledgers and manual control, with the challenges including scattered data, separated workflows, low efficiency and untraceable progress, failing to meet the refined production requirements of the company. In response, after a year of dedicated research and development, Shendong Coal’s technical team launched the new intelligent management system for face relocation.
The system builds five closed-loop digital modules including plan submission, equipment matching, plan deployment, execution supervision and statistical analysis, connecting collaborative links of all posts. Each mine submits its operation plan online, while each functional department completes equipment matching, project duration determination and construction organization online. Full-process data achieves real-time sharing, seamless connection and full-life traceability, completely revolutionizing the traditional decentralized manual management mode.
The system has now achieved full coverage of digital management for face relocation across Shendong, effectively breaking data barriers and workflow bottlenecks, as well as standardizing management criteria, streamlining business procedures and enhancing management efficiency and quality.
