On December 16, the project Multi-source Heterogeneous Digital Life Management System for Heating Surfaces of 1000MW Ultra-supercritical Boilers of Shandong Shouguang Company, successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by the China Electricity Council. The expert team unanimously recognized it as reaching an internationally advanced level.
The system was independently developed to address long-standing industry pain points, including difficulties in monitoring the condition of coal-fired boiler heating surfaces, fragmented data management, and passive maintenance models. The project successfully established a digital management system integrating real-time condition monitoring, intelligent fault diagnosis and early warning, predictive maintenance, and full life-cycle health management. The successful development and application of this system effectively enabled precise early warning of potential safety incidents in the boiler’s main heating surfaces, significantly reduced unplanned outages caused by equipment failures, and provided robust technical support for the safe, stable, and economical operation of power generation enterprises. The system also passed third-party testing by the National Center for Quality Supervision and Inspection of Network Software Products. It obtained one invention patent, three utility model patents, with one paper published in a core journal and four papers published in journals at or above the provincial level.
Currently, this technology has been implemented at Shandong Shouguang Company, providing auxiliary support for the life management of boiler heating surfaces. It enabled the early warning of faults in the boiler’s main heating surfaces, reduced unplanned shutdowns caused by boiler equipment failures, lowered employee training and operation and maintenance costs, enhanced the corporate image, demonstrating broad market prospects.
