Recently, the China Energy, Chemistry and Geology Workers’ Union and the Chinese Workers’ Technical Association announced the results of the selection for outstanding employee innovation achievements. Among numerous projects, Zhunneng Group’s 11 innovation achievements stood out, earning one special award, three first prizes, four second prizes, and three third prizes.
In 2024, Zhunneng Group fully advanced its Boosting Employee Innovation Initiative, and continuously deepened the integrated innovation system focusing on employee individual innovation, team-based innovation within workgroups, and studio-led employee innovation. By deeply integrating employee innovation with labor competitions, the Company strived to establish demonstration benchmarks for innovation studios. By implementing a pilot mechanism of “innovation alliance” and conducting “five minor” (minor inventions, creations, innovations, designs, and suggestions) economic and technological innovation activities at the primary level, the Company evaluated and rewarded 30 outstanding rationalization proposals and 45 innovation achievements throughout the year, of which 22 received national and industry-level outstanding employee innovation awards. Zhunneng Group was also awarded the “Outstanding Organization Award” for employee technological innovation achievements in the regional coal industry, making notable progress in its employee innovation.
In 2025, Zhunneng Group will continue to strengthen support for employee innovation, and implement a work mechanism of providing solutions to company’s technological challenges, create high-end, intelligent innovation studios, accelerate the standardized development of innovation studio alliances, and organize activities for assessing, showcasing and promoting employee innovation achievements. All this will help transform innovations into new quality productive forces, encourage employees to engage in innovation activities with extensive innovation outcomes, ultimately injecting continuous innovative momentum into Zhunneng Group’s high-quality development.
