On January 14, Tianjin Port completed tests on its self-developed material stockpile model database and the programmable logic controller (PLC) data reading and writing system, which was applied to the production and operation processes of automated stacking and reclaiming, injecting strong innovative momentum into the Company’s efficient and stable production.
Focusing on foundational logic design and extracting dynamic information and communication mapping relation tables from the original modules, the system develops necessary stored procedures and triggers based on the existing material stack modeling database, and enables gateway conversion software to facilitate comprehensive data communication through the whole process, replacing all functions of the original hardware modules and establishing a redundancy mode ensuring high efficiency and stability in data communication. With its extensive experience in technological innovation, Tianjin Port has formed a dedicated in-house research and development team by collaborating with internal and external industry experts. Focusing on an innovation-driven strategy to cultivate new quality productive forces and delving into technological potential, the Company continually optimizes and innovates the original system to address production bottlenecks and challenges. By advocating for domestic software alternatives, the Company has significantly advanced its work in information technology innovation within the production and operation sectors, laying a solid foundation for enhancing automated production operation.
