The AI wireless video alarming device designed and made by Shangwan Coal Mine of Shendong Coal, a subsidiary of China Energy, has been put into use to guarantee transport safety.
Through signals gathered by AI cameras, data analysis by back-end host computer, and AI visual algorithm and processing, the device realizes functions such as front and rear monitoring, driving recording, video collection and processing, seat belt detection, radar detection, data transmission and synchronization, voice alarm, front and rear cabin voice intercom, and driver fatigue detection. Among them, the driver fatigue detection function can analyze whether the driver is drowsy driving, and the detection accuracy is more than 90%.
“The AI wireless video alarming device has been equipped on two personnel transport vehicles, which can monitor the operation of the vehicles and the status of their drivers in a real-time manner, thus effectively enhancing the safety of supplementary transport,” commented Li Xining, head of the coal mine’s vehicle team.
