On June 22, Shuohuang Railway achieved new progress in the test of the personal safety intelligent protection system based on BeiDou high-precision positioning technology, and realized the "quadruple control" of personal safety of the station staff, locomotive personnel, guards and operators for the first time in the railway system of China Energy Group.
In order to ensure the safety of operators, Shuohuang Railway, along with domestic high-tech companies, developed a personal safety protection system based on BeiDou high-precision positioning technology, GIS electronic fence technology, train navigation terminal, Internet of Things, big data, and signal microcomputer monitoring system. Instead of the passive protection relying on the notification of guards, the system overcomes the protection difficulties caused by geographical factors, meteorological conditions, weak protection awareness, physical conditions, etc., and realizes the digitization and visualization of the positions of personnel and trains, the quantification of the risk, the diversification of alarm methods and the traceability of the accountability mechanism, further enhancing the on-site safety prevention and control.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the system, the company has organized several coordination meetings, dispatched special personnel and formulated detailed execution plans to provide convenience for system design and on-site investigation. By formulating relevant safety management and control measures and implementation guidelines, the company has established a set of logical and rigorous safety mutual control mechanisms among locomotives, stations, guards and operation sites to build a multi-link full-joint closed-loop safety control system between personnel, trains and ground, and eventually realized the integrated protection through “precise protection, intelligent monitoring and combination of prevention and control”.
