Recently, the intelligent flow monitoring system of Liuta Mine of Shendong Coal was put online, successfully realizing the comprehensive monitoring of the pumping station of the long-wall mining face, No.22 coal borehole, the main underground water tank, the No.12 transfer water tank and the water flow in the goaf, and building a “dam” to prevent the potential mine floods.

Flood is one of the five natural disasters coal mines encounter, so real-time monitoring and effective management of groundwater in coal mines is particularly important. The intelligent flow management system can realize high-precision, automatic operation connecting to the Internet, and has the functions of real-time monitoring, data collection, data transmission, data analysis and processing, report generation and output, local area network browsing and query, etc. This system can help management personnel and hydrological and safety engineers to monitor hydrological dynamics with accuracy and in real time, so as to ensure that any abnormality can be dealt with in a timely manner. At the same time, with the help of the production management and control platform system, it is very convenient to analyze and evaluate the relationship between the changes of various parameters in the hydrological dynamics, which provides a basis for predicting potential safety hazards, and greatly improves the ability of underground flood prevention and the intelligent level of mine hydrological monitoring.
