Recently, the transport robot developed by Shendong Coal was approved after examination and put into use in Bulianta Coal Mine, which effectively solved the problem with the final link of underground material transportation.
The newly developed tracked transport robot is mainly used to deliver materials or accessories below 3 tons for the working face. It has an overall dimensions of 3.5 m × 1.2 m × 1.1 m, flexible and suitable for working in narrow places. The diesel engine drives the hydraulic pump, with strong passability and high stability. It’s estimated that one transport robot can save 2 to 3 persons’ manpower and improve work efficiency by about 30%.
With the application of HarmonyOS system, SLAM and other new technologies, the transport robot is expected to realize the best route simulation, automatic obstacle avoidance and other functions, which will further reduce labor costs, improve production efficiency and ensure occupational health.
