The results of the 8th National Equipment Management and Technological Innovation Achievements Exchange Conference, hosted by the China Association of Plant Engineering, were recently announced. Multiple achievements submitted by Shuohuang Railway were recognized with awards. Among them, Research and Application of Intelligent Inspection and Maintenance Decision-Making Technology for Heavy-Haul Railway Infrastructure received the Special Award, while Development of an Intelligent Lithium-Powered Steel Rail End Milling Machine for Heavy-Haul Railways and Research on the Digital Application System for Locomotive Maintenance and Repair Process Management were both awarded First Prizes.
The Special Award-winning innovation project, Research and Application of Intelligent Inspection and Maintenance Decision-Making Technology for Heavy-Haul Railway Infrastructure, addresses critical industry challenges and the urgent need for intelligent transformation. Through breakthroughs in three key technology areas of intelligent integrated inspection trains for heavy-haul operations, intelligent operations and maintenance management platforms, and intelligent maintenance decision-making systems, the project has successfully established a comprehensive closed-loop operation and maintenance framework for heavy-haul railway infrastructure, built around a “perception-cognition-decision” chain. This system has significantly improved the level of intelligent technical risk prevention in heavy-haul railways, reinforced safety management and control capabilities across the entire operation and maintenance lifecycle, and delivered a mature, viable, and scalable Shuohuang Solution for reforming heavy-haul railway maintenance and upgrading operational models toward greater intelligence and digitization.
