CHN Energy Jingran Thermal Power's Intelligent Power Generation Technology Was Appraised as Internationally Leading

Recently, the scientific and technological achievement Research and Application on Key Flexible Intelligent Power Generation Technologies of Gas Turbines Under the New Power System, submitted by CHN Energy Jingran Thermal Power, passed the authoritative appraisal by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. The Appraisal Committee unanimously viewed that the overall technology of this project has reached international leading level.

The achievement has addressed core operational regulation challenges of combined heat and power gas units under high penetration of new energy, driving gas power generation to shift from the traditional manual operation mode to a new stage of full-domain autonomous and intelligent operation. The achievement comprises four major core innovations: developing a multi-energy flow coordination and multi-objective dynamic optimization model to set a new paradigm for intelligent control in gas power generation; developing full-scenario perception and knowledge-enhanced large-model early-warning technology to achieve accurate identification and root cause tracing of high-risk faults; creating multi-mode flexible thermoelectric regulation technology to achieve closed-loop control of the entire  electric-thermal load chain via a digital reflection; and developing breakthrough technologies for full-domain self-optimization and autonomous fault handling to guarantee safe operation under complex working conditions.

The project has established a complete independent intellectual property portfolio, having obtained 47 invention patents and 21 software copyrights, and participating in drafting eight standards. After application on the company's 950.98 MW unit, it generated annual economic benefits exceeding RMB 64 million, and has been deployed to more than 60 units under six major power generation groups nationwide, with deployment benefits exceeding RMB 86 million in the past three years. The project has greatly enhanced grid regulation capacity and new energy consumption capability, reduced energy usage and emissions, and supported the green and low-carbon transition of energy.
