As of May 25, Baoshen Railway’s Shenshuo Company has recorded over 100 million tonnes of freight volume from year beginning, reaching a total of 102.852 million tonnes, ensuring the stable and sustained energy supplies.
Since the beginning of 2025, Shenshuo Company has implemented scientific-based methods in transportation and organization to enhance freight volume. The Company has steadily improved station safety levels and operational efficiency by continuously optimizing station operation processes, including reviewing train arrivals and departures, 10,000-tonne train marshalling, loading operations, and construction coordination to strengthen the connection among operational links, identifying potential risks, and formulating effective management & control measures. By collaborating with the dispatching control center, the Company has strengthened transportation and organization efforts to maximize the operational efficiency of 10,000-tonne trains. It has prioritized the regular operation of C70E-type 10,000-tonne trains and engaged in full-process records and optimization for 10,000-tonne formation at key stations including Daliuta, Zhugaita, Yanjiata, Shenmu North, Fugu, Wangjiazhai, and Hezhi stations. By coordinating and addressing operational issues through a joint labor coordination conference, the overall vehicle turnaround rate of the 12 locomotives of Ganquan Railway has been significantly increased. The Company has also guided the marshalling operations on the Weihua Dedicated Line of Huangyangcheng Station and the Longtai Dedicated Line of Sancha Station, to assist the dedicated line loading units in upgrading loading equipment to improve loading capacity. Furthermore, it has promoted station equipment upgrades for existing lines, including electrification, track extensions, and an increase in turnouts at stations including Zhugaita, Yanjiata, Fugu, Wangjiazhai, and Yinta stations, thus effectively increasing passing capacity, locomotive utilization, and arrival-departure track deployment. The Company has actively coordinated with local coal clients to increase their transportation requests, and raised freight volume from Shuozhou Xikou and Zhuang’er Shangkou stations.
Furthermore, the Company prioritizes emergency precautions for flood prevention, conducting emergency drills to improve employees’ emergency response capabilities. It optimizes both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance gaps, ensuring that all due construction projects shall be implemented and maintenance tasks are completed on schedule, eliminating potential equipment hazards, and maintaining stable, safe, and efficient operation of the equipment.
