Recently, China Shenhua passed the Level-3 Certification for the Data Management Capability Maturity (DCMM) on the first attempt, signifying our data management capability has received authoritative accreditation and met national standards.
The Data Management Capability Maturity Model, released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is the first national standard in China’s data management sector. The DCMM Level-3 certification not only demonstrates China Shenhua’s long-term endeavor on data management but also indicates that our data management capability is increasingly mature. In terms of data management, China Shenhua has implemented CHN Energy’s strategic deployment regarding digital transformation, set precise objectives, defined execution roadmap, and formulated standards. The company has conducted data reviews covering all 14 operational systems and established a data middle-platform based on the 1+N model, to manage data across three domains of management support, business development, and strategic operations, thus facilitating data transmission and sharing.
Looking forward, following the DCMM framework and guidelines, China Shenhua will further enhance the capability in data integration, governance, modeling, development, and analysis across all business sectors, to optimize management and control processes through data governance, thus promoting digital transformation and high-quality and sustainable development.
