Huanghua Port Launched Full-process Collaborative Intelligent System

On August 9, Huanghua Port, China’s largest port for coal transportation, officially launched its full-process collaborative intelligent system for dumping, stacking, reclaiming, and loading, marking a notable advancement in the intelligent construction of coal ports in the country. By integrating digital twin technology, the system enables comprehensive visualization and intelligent management of operation plans, greatly enhancing port efficiency and dispatching precision.

The system precisely translates complex production commands into specific tasks for each loading and unloading device, driving automatic equipment preparation as well as start/stop. Through a highly integrated information and control system, it achieves all-round intelligent management, from command creation, queue management, and simulation rehearsals to real-time exercise, material flow tracking, interlock protection, and equipment task control. This collaborative intelligent system considerably reduces process switching durations, allowing central control dispatchers to flexibly adjust operation plans based on real-time simulation, ensuring efficient and orderly production.

Upon application, the system is expected to shorten auxiliary operation durations, stabilize production processes, and optimize centralized control operations, allowing a single operator to oversee an entire unloading or loading process. This extremely streamlined workflow effectively reduces labor intensity and sets a benchmark for intelligent transformation across the coal port industry, offering advanced technology and experience for reference.
